高雄港から澎湖島へ 美しい船の旅

高雄から澎湖諸島へは、飛行機で行けるだけでなく、貨客フェリー「澎湖輪」で行く青い海の航路も旅行客に人気の選択肢だ。
交通手段としての機能性のみを重視してきたこれまでの船とは異なり、「澎湖輪」は日台チームの連携により、全体として美観を重視したデザインが採用された。白を基調とする船体に黒い曲線が船首の輪郭をくっきりと浮かび上がらせ、アクセントの朱色が躍動感を表現している。青い海を航海する姿は、まるで水面に現れたクジラのようだ。また、船内は木の暖かみや海のモチーフを感じさせる空間となっている。
